The journey into Yorkshire will take our Blackpool friends some time.  We expect them to arrive to see Easingwold Market in full swing, with time to buy some of the excellent produce on offer.  We will take a look at Long Street, the Parish Church, Uppleby, the Claypenny development and then there is lunch at The George.

Nobody had expected that our General Election Campaign would still be full of action, and so we will be dodging candidates!

The afternoon sees a short drive to R.A.F. Linton on Ouse where we are certain of a warm and friendly welcome.  We may see some interesting aeroplanes in the air – volcanic ash clouds permitting.  A full tour of the Base and the Memorial Room will show our guests some of the very important aspects of local history near Easingwold.
